Star Lord is great. He’s funny; he’s got great dance moves. But Groot, especially Baby Groot when he’s dancing. I just can’t accurately predict how many times I’m going to see Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 just so I can watch Baby Groot. It’s going to be a lot.
In honor of Groot, my family and I celebrated the release of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 with Guardians of the Galaxy floats. We call them Groot Beer Floats as they are blended root beer floats with lots of fun extras. Check out the super simple recipe that’s out of this galaxy!
Not going to lie, the Knott’s Berry Farm Boysenberry Festival is my jam. As a long-time Orange County resident I adore the opportunity to celebrate Orange County history, while enjoying all of the boysenberry-themed offerings.
Knott’s is always a fun day for my family, with a variety of attractions perfect for preschoolers to parents. We are so grateful we were able to spend another day in the park, but the Boysenberry Festival was a first for all of us. Today I’m excited to share our all the fun, including our berry favorite food offerings.
Disney’s California Adventure has something big coming this summer, and it sounds like it’s going to be big fun. Shake, wiggle, and sing along with your favorite Disney Junior characters at the brand new Disney Junior Dance Party.
Today marks the one-year anniversary of Southern California’s very own Great Wolf Lodge, an indoor water park and resort that brings a wave of fun for any family. We had the pleasure of visiting for my daughter’s birthday a few months back, and brought the whole family…our toddler included.
Is Great Wolf Lodge fun for toddlers? Read on to find out!
Just like their mother before them, my little ones are growing up Disney. From a house full of magical mementos to Disney days, my husband and I began their indoctrination into the Disney-loving world almost immediately.
With little ones in tow most of the time, there are certain necessities for our trips to Disneyland. One of those is a stroller. Today I’m sharing all you need to know about strollers at the Disneyland Resort.
True as it can be, it’s almost March 17th. I am so darn excited about seeing Beauty and the Beast I can’t even handle it. Belle was my favorite favorite favorite princess growing up (Snow White is my favorite favorite, but not favorite favorite favorite). Her dreams of the great wide somewhere; her nose stuck in a book; her hatred for the boorish, the brainless Gaston. She pretty much rules.
Add in Emma Watson playing the lead role, and I can’t even. That’s why I’m so delighted to share some special Beauty and the Beast themed fun with you.
This may be shocking news, but I’m kind of a big Disney fan. We’ve explored every inch of Disneyland, and been to Walt Disney World twice as a family. But there’s even more Disney history to explore right here in Southern California. Check out some of the fun at “The Birthplace of Imagineering,” Walt’s Barn.
Our elf is back on the shelf, our Jack Skellington is wearing his Santa cap. It’s the happiest time of year, and one that is full of favorite family traditions.
The Merriest Place on Earth makes for the merriest memories. We love the decorations on Main Street, and the holiday takeovers on our favorite rides. One of my favorite holiday traditions actually takes place at the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa at the Disneyland Resort. Each year my sister Carolyn and I round up our collective six children and bring them to the hotel.
The Grand Californian is nothing short of gorgeous all year round, but hosts some free (or inexpensive) festive fun this holiday season you won’t want to miss!
