Jinkies! A new exhibit has opened at Discovery Cube OC. The Scooby-Doo hands-on, themed experience turns families into sleuths as they analyze clues and solve mysteries. Explore the spooky mansion with Mystery Inc. as you crawl through castles, run from ghosts, and save the day!
As a Cube Creator, my family and I receive complimentary admission to facilitate reviews.

What Is the Scooby-Doo! Mansion Mayhem Exhibit?
The Scooby-Doo! Mansion Mayhem exhibit transforms part of Discovery Cube Orange County into a giant interactive mystery adventure inspired by the cartoon.
Guests enter the “haunted” mansion and work to uncover clues and investigate spooky surprises throughout the exhibit. The exhibit blends the nostalgia parents love with the immersive experiences today’s kids enjoy, making it especially appealing for multigenerational family outings.
What to Expect in the Scooby-Doo! Mansion Mayhem Exhibit

There’s something for mystery solvers of all ages! The Scooby-Doo! Mansion Mayhem exhibit features a variety of stations to explore and solve.
- Hall of Portraits: Inspired by Daphne, you’ll need to find a hidden control panel. You may get the feeling someone’s watching you!
- Villain’s Tinkering Workshop: Can you set a trap like Fred to catch the bad guys? Use your motor skills to build a something similar to a Rube Goldberg machine.
- Library and Music Room: Use a clue analyzer and a musically coded organ like Velma in the library and music room of the mansion.
- Kitchen: Did someone order Scooby Snacks? Build a sandwich in a light-up game or add some spice to a ghoulishly delightful pizza.
There’s also an interactive chase game that’ll have you shaking in your skedaddlin’ shoes. Plus, you can crawl through a castle and then find yourself scoping out the scene from atop it.
You’ll find lots of fun photo ops including a replica of the Mystery Machine and silly gravestones.
Tips for Visiting Scooby-Doo! Mansion Mayhem

Plan Your Visit
With summer kicking off, expect other guests to be solving crimes and unmasking villains. I prefer to visit right at opening and heading straight to limited time exhibits.
This exhibit is included in the cost of admission or your annual membership. Love that!
Consider a Membership
Memberships mean less pressure to fit all the fun in one day. Plus, you have access to special perks like Member Mornings with reduced crowds.
Bring the Whole Family
While the exhibit is spooky, it won’ give your little one the heebie jeebies. If you’ve been around Clementine County for a minute, you know my three-year-old is very shy and not a fan of darker spaces. She did great! This one is well suited for children 3-12, in my opinion. There are written instructions to keep those summer reading skills sharp, but also plenty of activities for pre-readers.
Stop by the Lunch Lab
If solving crimes works up an appetite, stop by the Lunch Lab for a themed cookie as a sweet treat.

We had a great time solving mysteries in this new exhibit. Don’t say, “Ruh roh!” and miss out on the Scooby-Doo fun happening now at Discovery Cube OC now through September 13, 2026.
