I always say I’m vegan, except for dessert.

Back in the day finding anything vegan was darn near impossible in a commercial setting. Once month my mom would drive me to a natural grocery store and I would stock up. But if I wanted to go out to dinner with friends or eat fast food, I was pretty much out of luck. So I ate a lot of meals at home, and just accepted that I’d miss out on some things.

It was dessert that broke me. Dessert that converted my diet from vegan back to vegetarian.

But here we are in 2020 with SO MANY OPTIONS! Not only are vegan items widely available, the popularity of the lifestyle has provided a gold mine of yummy recipes to make at home.
