Take Advantage of Multiple Locations A popular spot to see the ol’ Grinch is the Upper Lot’s Universal Plaza. You can also find him on the Lower Lot above the Jurassic Cafe. During our visit, this area was reserved for passholders.

The Holiday Who-bilation Head to the Holiday Who-bilation for a festive fairground with a gigantic Grinch-style tree. There are storytimes throughout the day with Cindy-Lou Who and musical performances.

In the evening, don’t mis the Grinchmas Tree Lighting with teh Dr. Seuss-inspired tree illuminated in a colorful display. The show ends with a snowfall…even in sunny California! Check the official app for showtimes, and arrive early to grab a seat!

Around the Who-bilation, you’ll find a variety of festive activities, including photo opportunities, story-time with Cindy-Lou Who, and ornament coloring. Plus, the citizens of Whoville are strolling the area for photos and general cheer throughout the day.

Tip: This area is filled with festive fun! If the line for the Grinch has your heart feeling three sizes too small, consider a photo with his dog Max (shorter wait) or the Whoville Mayor (no wait!).

Sweet treats and drinks are available for sale. We loved our Grinch-themed cupcake with hidden sprinkles and a heart at the center, and a 3 sizes cookie!
