What to Eat at the Boysenberry Festival

If you’re berry hungry, this post is for you! The 2024 Boysenberry Festival brings 75+ boysenberry inspired dishes to Knott’s Berry Farm March 8, 2024.  It’s a celebration going back to its roots, as Knott’s Berry Farm honors the entreprenurial spirit of Walter Knott and his early berry stands.

I received complimentary admission in order to facilitate this review.  This post may contain affiliate links.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The best way to taste the flavors of the festival is with a Tasting Card.  For $55, you can try 6 different items from the select menu.  I love the flexibility this year, allowing you to mix and match your tasting cards items to your liking.  6 servings of Boysenberry Elote, please.

Boysenberry Drinks & Sweets

Boysenberry desserts offer a stronger kick of the berry flavor that I just adore.  We all know that you’re going to walk off the calories as you stroll through Knott’s Berry Farm, so we won’t even worry about how many desserts are consumed.

There’s a variety of beer, wine, and other adult beverages making Knott’s Boysenberry Festival a wonderful outing for date night or with a group of friends.

Since we are talking about drinks, I have to mention there are some really fun beverages to take home too.  We love the bottled sodas, including sugar-free options.

It’s been a while since I mentioned Boysenberry Elote, so I’ll do that again now.

Wine and Craft Brew Tasting Garden

Pick up a Wine and Craft Brew Tasting Card for $25 to get 6 samples of wine or craft brew in the Wilderness Dance Hall.  It’s a great way to unwind from all the fun with friends.  My favorite is to have the barkeep mix the boysenberry beer and cider together.  While you’re enjoying your drinks, check out the new “Tied Up in Knott’s” art show.  It’s a tribute to all things Knott’s Berry Farm.  The original art pieces are available for sale, plus prints for sale in the Mystery Lodge.

The Boysenberry Festival is such a fun and flavorful way to celebrate Orange County history.  If you’re looking to experience each Season of Fun at Knott’s Berry Farm, grab a Season Pass.  Celebrate all things boysenberry now through April 8th.  Did I mention not to miss the Boysenberry Elote?

  • A boysenberry festival? That sounds like so much fun! I love all the unique recipes they’ve created with boysenberries. Every one of them sounds like something I’d want to try. I love that you can buy a tasting. I guess the hardest part would be deciding which ones to pick.
